Ikebana parcours in Romainmôtiers

With Ines Massin - September 2023

Inès Massin and I were invited to create an ikebana parcours through this stunning medieval village. We moved from place to place, allowing each site to guide us.

Our work unfolded as a four-handed dialogue, shaped by intuition, poetry, and a shared sensitivity to nature. Each arrangement became an invitation to pause, to reflect, and to reconnect with the quiet presence of the environment.

Some of our creations were inspired by the village’s annual book fair and its long-standing connection with Oguni, Japan, a town known for its centuries-old washi papermaking tradition.

Where Nature Meets Community, Brussels

With Els Goos - Saint Peter Church in Jette, Brussels - August 2023

During this 5 days workshop facilitated by Ilse Beunen, I had the privilege of collaborating with Els Goos.

Despite not sharing a common language, Els and I worked in true tandem, guided by mutual respect, creative flow, and joyful intuition. As we exchanged gestures, materials, and impressions, our ideas naturally converged into a shared vision.

We aimed to establish a dialogue with the church's Gothic structure, incorporating vibrant red elements that echoed the stained glass windows above. Lush greenery anchored the piece, evoking growth, rootedness, and the invisible threads of community connection within the spiritual space.

By recycling discarded wooden plinths and crafting an ascending assemblage of open frames, our work embodied both elevation and transformation.

Movement, Brussels

Saint Peter Church in Jette, Brussels - August 2025.

During this 5 days workshop facilitated by Ilse Beunen, I had the privilege of collaborating with Inès Massin.

“The Flames of Renewal”

From the first moments in the space, something called us for transformation, a desire to clear, to renew. Fire emerged as a guiding thread: a force of purification, carrying within it the energy of rebirth.

Together, we shaped an installation that entered into dialogue with the church itself. The black-and-white checkered floor seemed to come alive beneath our feet, while above, the stained glass cast shifting colours into the space. As the sunlight moved through the windows, the colours ignited the installation, as if the fire we had imagined had found its own breath and presence.

In this space, impermanence became an offering, and within this dance of flame and light, we were invited to dwell, to pause, to breathe, and to simply be within the movement.

BE WTR Inauguration, Lausanne

With Ines Massin - October 2023

Inès Massin and I were invited by BE WTR, a Swiss company specialising in sustainable water solutions, to create an artwork marking the inauguration of their new premises.

Our installation offered a dialogue between art and environmental awareness. Using recycled PET bottles, we explored the impact of plastic overconsumption, while gradually revealing the crystalline purity symbolised by the BE WTR bottle.

This ephemeral piece invites reflection and a call to action, urging us to envision and support cleaner, more conscious futures through thoughtful, responsible choices.
