Culinary Ikebana
This demonstration and workshop reconnect with the creative spark I discovered during the 2020 lockdown, when I chose to cultivate joy in everyday simplicity rather than be overwhelmed by uncertainty.
With no flowers at hand, I began creating with fruits, vegetables and kitchen utensils. This playful use of familiar objects became a tribute to imagination in times of constraint.
Presented in October 2024 for the Australian Teachers Association (ASTA), Sydney.
